Stillwater, the “Birthplace of Minnesota”, has a long standing Band tradition of excellence. Starting in fifth grade, students in the Stillwater Area School District have access to excellent instrumental music instructors in Elementary school through High School. Concert Bands are the focus of our secondary schools, coupled with an excellent Jazz Program and various other ensembles. Ensembles from Stillwater Bands tour to locations such as Chicago, Los Angelos, Canada, Iceland, and Sweden.
